CONDUCT & ETHICS

How I hold this work.

The commitments I bring to every session, so you know what to expect and can feel safe before we even begin.

MY COMMITMENTS

I am a member of the Somatic Sex Educators Association of Australasia, and I work within its Code of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct.

Alongside that, these are the principles I hold myself to, in my own words. They are here so you always know how I work, what is yours to decide, and how your privacy and safety are cared for.

FOUR PRINCIPLES

What guides every session.

1

Collaboration, consent and choice

Every session works through a continuous process of collaboration, consent and choice. The focus is always on what you want to explore, and on your growth and awareness. Being supported to be aware of, and in charge of, your own choices, especially around touch, is at the heart of how I work. Consent is active and ongoing, and you can pause or change direction at any time.

2

Present and professional

I am fully present and professional in our work together. I take responsibility for my own wellbeing, professional supervision and ongoing education, so that I can be there for your learning. Any touch in a session is chosen and directed by you, for your benefit, never the other way around.

3

Privacy and confidentiality

I uphold your privacy and confidentiality. Your personal details and our communications are kept private. I keep brief, securely stored session notes, confidential between us, and I will not share information about you with anyone else without your permission.

4

A clean and safe environment

I provide a clean and safe physical environment. That means standard hygiene precautions, medical grade gloves, high quality oils and lubricants, and care taken with your allergies, sensitivities and preferences.

QUESTIONS ARE WELCOME

Anything you would like to ask first?
