As well as being a sexological bodyworker, I have over thirty five years experience in healthcare and community work, with qualifications in nursing, health counselling, health policy and sexual and reproductive health. I am certified in sexological bodywork by the Institute of Somatic Sexology, a certified facilitator for the Wheel of Consent, a graduate of the Urban Tantra Professional Training program, and have certification in working with vaginismus. I am also a certified STREAM practitioner: Scar Tissue Remediation Education and Management.
I bring my own experiences – and gaps – of living queer, feminist, white and female in the world. Embracing and loving the body I am in, contributing to community building, taking my role working against injustices. I take care to live with compassion, gratitude, accountability and presence. And pleasure.
Sexological bodywork can work to celebrate and strengthen us in who we uniquely are, beyond restrictive roles, norms and social structures. It can also connect us, in building relationships and communities grounded in respect, awareness and delight.
I live and work on the unceded lands of Wodi Wodi people, part of the Dharawal Nation, and I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are the traditional custodians of this continent, with continuing connection to land, waters, language and community.
I welcome people of all bodies, sex, sexuality and genders, and abilities and disabilities. I have a special affinity for queer, genderqueer, intersex, transgender, bisexual, lesbian, gay people and communities, and people exploring new ways of expressing and relating. I enjoy connecting with people…
My approach welcomes, celebrates and honours all kinds of bodies, relationships and expressions of self. I want my work to contribute to our communities; for us to be conscious, curious, free, ethical, loving, playful and kind, in our expressions of ourselves, and with each other, as sexual and social beings.
